Strengthen the faithful, arouse the careless, and restore the penitent. Grant us all things necessary for our common life, and bring us all to be of one heart and mind within your holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. This is Christ's altar, not the Episcopal Church's, and all are welcome at Christ's feast. We also hope you'll introduce yourself to the clergy after the service and will sign our guest book. THANK YOU to all the many people who helped make our confirmation, reception and reaffirmation ceremony, along with Mother’s Day, so special. The food was delicious and plentiful. Thank you goes out to all those who helped clean up afterwards and put the room back in order. A wonderful day was the result of all your hard work. BROTHERHOOD OF SAINT ANDREW a men’s group for spirituality/ministry in the Episcopal Church will be meeting the 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 7:30 PM in the church. For more information please see Ed Brakowski or Artie Talbot. TRINITY’S ECUMENICAL CHARISMATIC PRAYER MEETING will be on the second Thursday of every month at 7:30 PM in the Chapel. FIRST HOLY COMMUNION The date has been changed from June 1st to June 8th 2008. Classes continue today after the 10AM liturgy, and next Sunday, May 25th. A FAT PIGGY BANK is located in the Narthex for all monetary donations for St. Marks Kitchen. Please continue to be generous. ATTENTION ALL COSTCO SHOPPERS If you would please pick up a large can of potatoes and/or corn when you shop you can help feed the hungry on “Meatloaf Mondays”. We use 4 cans of each every month. Also need canned brown gravy. Thank you – Deacon Terry. MINUTES” FOR MINISTRY: If you (or your teen) has some free evening/weekend text or cell phone time, you can do quick and powerful ministry. Once a month/week/day, call or text our government leaders, encouraging them to keep the MDG’s. A sample letter and phone/text message, with resident/senator addresses/numbers, is on our parish website, or pick up a copy from the narthex table or see Terry. Thank you. WANTED New & used books, hardcover, paperbacks, books on tape, CD’s, DVD’s, cassettes & video games. Please bring them in plastic grocery or shopping bags, no heavy boxes. Please no - textbooks over 2 yrs.old, readers digest condensed books or dictionaries. "The books are being sold through Amazon as a fundraiser." Thank you. SPIRIT LIMOS Have you noticed that a neighbor in your pew has been absent from Sunday worship? Perhaps their car isn’t working or they are unable to drive themselves to church. Provide a wonderful service and give them a lift (in more ways than one.) Don a chauffeur’s cap on the occasional Sunday and become a member of Spirit Limos. To learn more, call Cathy Goldsmith at 732-740-5976. OUR ANNUAL QUILTING PROJECT will be held on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 PM to 9:00PM. We are once again putting together a queen size quilt to raffle at our comedy night and cookie walk. Call Sonia at 732-264-5207 for more information. SPRING CLEANING TIME!!! We need your “stuff”. Please continue to deposit all unneeded clothing and small household goods into our bins at the back of the church parking lot. Trinity receives $100.00 per month for having the bins. Your donations help Trinity’s Outreach. Please keep in mind that the very large black bags do not fit the openings. Thank you. THE CHOIR IS RECRUITING Our Trinity Choir needs more voices and would love to have you sing with them. See our Music Director George Cullinan or any choir member after Sunday services for more information. MYANMAR ERD has been at work in Myanmar for 2 years.
