A PRAYER FOR TRINITY

Almighty and ever living God, ruler of all things in heaven and earth, hear our prayers for this parish family. Strengthen the faithful, arouse the careless, and restore the penitent. Grant us all things necessary for our common life, and bring us all to be of one heart and mind within your holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

A WARM WELCOME to all visitors and newcomers, we're glad you're here, and we hope you'll keep coming back!! Holy Communion is open to all that wish to receive. This is Christ's altar, not the Episcopal Church's, and all are welcome at Christ's feast. We also hope you'll introduce yourself to the clergy after the service and will sign our guest book. Please join us for light refreshments, goodies and conversation after the service in the Parish Hall at the opposite end of our building. Welcome!!

CONFIRMATION CLASSES Youth classes TODAY, March 2nd 12-1:15 PM in the Vesting Room with Rabbi Malinger. Adults TODAY, March 2nd 2-4 PM. Adults & Youth – Friday, March 7th promptly at 6:25 PM at Temple Shalom in Aberdeen we will attend a Service, have Dinner and share Questions. Reservations are necessary.

PSALMS FOR YOURPSELF: creative appreciation and use of the psalms": a session of adult education/enjoyment, will be held on Thursday March 6, 7:30-8:45 p.m. Register on the sign-up sheet in the Narthex.

THE ALTAR GUILD will be polishing the brass and silver this coming SAT. MARCH 8th at 10:00 AM. All Altar Guild members are needed to do this work. Thank you.

OUR SPECIAL EASTER ALTAR FLOWER BULLETIN envelopes are in the Narthex. Please put your intentions on the envelope (In Thanksgiving or In Memory of) your loved ones and put it in the offering plate or in my mail box. The deadline is NEXT SUNDAY, March 9, 2008. Thank you, Rosalie.

ST. MARK'S food for Easter. We are collecting non-perishable 1 lb. canned hams & food to be delivered to St. Mark's. Please be generous with your donations. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to this great community outreach. Please put all donations in the vesting room by Palm Sunday, March 16th.

BROTHERHOOD OF SAINT ANDREW a men’s group for spirituality/ministry in the Episcopal Church will be meeting the 1st and 3rd Wednesday. at 7:30 PM in the church. For more information please see Ed Brakowski or Artie Talbot.

TRINITY’S ECUMENICAL CHARISMATIC PRAYER MEETINGS will be on the second Thursday of every month at 7:30 PM in the Chapel. Please join us for prayer and worship during which time we will pray for our needs and the needs of others.

OUR ANNUAL CHRISTMAS QUILTING will begin on Tuesday at 7:30 PM. Open to beginners thru blue ribbon quilters. Come help with our Outreach project. Call Sonia at 732-264- 5207 for more information.

ATTENTION ALL COSTCO SHOPPERS If you would please pick up a large can of potatoes and/or corn when you shop you can help feed the hungry on “Meatloaf Mondays”. We use 4 cans of each every month. Also need canned brown gravy. Thank you – Deacon Terry.

WANTED New & used books, hardcover, paperbacks, books on tape, cd’s, dvd’s, cassettes & video games. Please bring them in plastic grocery or shopping bags, no heavy boxes. Please no - textbooks over 2 yrs.old, readers digest condensed books or dictionarys. "The books are being sold through Amazon as a fundraiser." Thank you.

PICTORIAL DIRECTORY and FAMILY ALBUM. We would like to have EVERY family be in the new directory. EVERY family receives a FREE 8x10 photograph and a FREE directory just for coming. ANYONE can come to the church to have their photograph taken, so invite your friends and neighbors. (Their picture will not appear in our directory, but they still get a FREE 8x10 and the church will receive another FREE directory.) Casual posing is also available free of charge. Please SIGN UP today while there is still a good selection of appointments. Photography sessions will be on March 7th & March 8th. Additional dates will be scheduled if necessary.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!! Remember to deposit all unneeded clothing and small household goods into our Bins at the back of the church parking lot. Trinity receives $100.00 per month for having the bins. So please clean out your closets and fill our Bins (please note that the openings are smaller than the one on our previous bin and the very large black bags will not fit).Your donations help Trinity’s Outreach. Thank you.

“MINUTES” FOR MINISTRY: If you (or your teen) has some free evening/weekend text or cell phone time, you can do quick and powerful ministry. Once a month/week/day, call or text our government leaders, encouraging them to keep the MDG’s. A sample letter and phone/text message, with resident/senator addresses/numbers, is on our parish website, or pick up a copy from the narthex table or see Terry. Thank you.
