Dear Fellow Parishioners:

As we begin our 2018 Stewardship Campaign, we ask you to be mindful, prayerful, and present in the Lord. There is work to be done, and together we can accomplish anything.

This is a pivotal time at Trinity Episcopal Church, a time when our faith and our perseverance  is being tested.  We must all work together to keep Trinity the vibrant place we have always known it to be. To do that, we need help from each and every one of you.

More than simply keeping the lights on and the doors open, we need your help in revealing Trinity’s mission in the community and generosity of spirit to others.

And we need your help in our effort to bring a priest to Trinity.

Your pledge is vital to both goals.

While we do not have a priest's salary to pay at this time, we do have bills to pay and costs to cover. We also need to maintain — and hopefully begin to grow — the revenue level in our budget. A new beginning is coming into view as we explore an affiliation with a neighboring Episcopal congregation that would enable us to share a full-time priest. We must be prepared to take full advantage of such a promising opportunity.

So we ask for your prayerful consideration of how much you can contribute during 2018.  If you can, we ask you to raise your pledge amount, or if that is not possible, to at least maintain your 2017 pledge level.

It is very important that you submit your 2018 pledge as soon as possible in order for us to put together Trinity’s budget for the coming new year.

Also of great importance to Trinity’s mission is the time and presence you can contribute in service through our various ministries. If you are already involved, we thank you. If you are just now thinking of becoming involved, please take that next step. Reach out to me or any Vestry member or lay minister. Do not be afraid to explore what God is calling you to do.

Prepare your heart. Set your mind. Waiting is not a solution. An active, engaged faith is far more fulfilling.

Rise up and join us on the journey!

Sincerely,

Alecia Fehley, Warden
