------------------------------------ Here is the quilt in progress for this year's holiday raffle --a queen size quilt done in shades of cream, blue, pink and lilac. It will be on view at the "Night of Laughter" Oct. 23 and raffle tickets will go on sale that night and remain available until Dec. 22. Tickets will be $5 each or 3 for $10. Raffle prizes:   Ist prize: The Queen size quilt 2nd prize: A handmade quilted handbag 3rd prize: A quilted christmas apron and pot holders

Those involved in making the quilt were, from left: Lillian Punch, Barbara Anderson, Rosemary Atterbury, Sonia Brakowski and this year's honorary quilter, our own Denise Mantell. We will also again be making the quilted christmas balls that were such a big hit last year. They will be on sale during our annual cookie walk in December.
