IX. WARDENS, VESTRY AND TREASURER

Trinity is governed by two wardens and a vestry of nine members, selected from within the congregation.

The wardens are elected for two-year terms in alternate years in order to provide continuity of leadership. Vestry members are elected to three-year terms which are also staggered to ensure smooth transitions from year to year.

The eight areas of specialization currently assigned to individual vestry members are: fundraising, outreach, parish life, finance, Christian Education, pastoral care, stewardship and buildings & grounds. An "at-large" position is held by the ninth vestry member.

The church treasurer is appointed by the vestry and is responsible for maintaining such accounting methods, practices and procedures as required by the Diocese of New Jersey and for presenting a continuous and current financial profile of the congregation.
