Our Sunday school classes begin at the conclusion of Holy Eucharist. Our classes are grouped by grade levels: PreSchool (3-4years old), Kindergarten/1st grade, 2nd & 3rd grade, 4th & 5th grade, 6th - 8th grade. Our dedicated teachers use a hands-on, interactive approach to bring alive: God's love for them, stories of the Bible, a better understanding of our Liturgy, and the importance of service to our community.
In addition to our weekly Sunday School classes, we have many activities throughout the church year including:
--Halloween Party
--Easter Egg hunt
--Junior Youth luncheons
--Feed the Birds-an Advent activity
--Pretzels and Passover
--Sundaes on Sunday
--1st Communion Classes
--Children's Chapel (during service for little ones) --PJ's and Bible Studies
--Good Friday children's service and egg dying
For our older youth (grade 6 and up), we have our Senior Youth Group. Here, our teens are involved in activities that promote fellowship as well as outreach. Past activities include:
--Blue Claws games
--Bowling
--Skating
--Food Drives
--Working at the local food Pantry
--Diocesan events like the Bishop's Ball
--"Souper Bowl" Sunday
